  • YouTube is testing a cool new feature that automatically suggests personalized hashtags to include when brands publish shorts. Save time and reach your audience? Truly #convenient.

  • YouTube’s analytics platform now lets users see what kind of content their audience is interacting with and which kind of content the brand posted gained subscribers. Talk about handy.

  • Starting February 1, the YouTube revenue share program will allow eligible creators to earn money from ads that are viewed in the Shorts Feed. This is great news for brands as content creators are going to be even more excited to dive in and drive more eyeballs to their favorite brands.

Our Executive Creative Director, Dave Gordon, shared his thoughts on the creative opportunities available with YouTube shorts:

“With Youtube throwing their weight behind this format, we’ll see more creative ways to tell short stories on video. And brands can start taking advantage by embracing short pieces of content that may not hit every RTB or multiple product benefits, but concentrate on a single benefit or experience. Fun (and short) times are ahead.“
