In 1998 Josh Cannon was sentenced to life in advertising, his only crime, long hair, tattoos and an inability to follow the status quo. After doing time at the likes of Pyro, Modernista, and names with 3 initials, he promptly escaped to the Atlanta underground with his wife and their two boys.
Josh has held the titles of Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, Writer, Poet, Visionary, and Madman. He helped launch Fiat in the US, was a lead creative on noted global AT&T Hands campaign, and developed the “Blank Canvas” campaign for Converse. Other accounts he has left his mark on include Coca-Cola, Hummer, Axe, Stride, Vonage, Samsung and the Seattle Supersonics.
At Ammunition, Josh leads our ideation, concepting, and copywriting efforts, developing creative for use in traditional advertising placements, as well as social campaigns, and content marketing pieces.
